Aims and Objectives
Motherland Academy is the outcome of the initiatives made by the local people so as to achieve the overall modern educational requirements of their children through a nongovernmental attempt. We aim to provide exciting, motivating and quality education for children through effective organization, a committed knowledgeable staff, well managed classrooms, high expectations and high standards of achievements through valuing you and your child.We strive to encourage the children to look beyond the school and learn about their world in the broadest sense. We have close links with local art groups, sports networks and other schools in our partnership. In turn school group0s are often sent out and about studying various places on interest. Everyone who is involved with our work – parents, children, governors and staff – has right to expect the best efforts from all. The aims of Motherland Academy can be summarized in the following ways:
- To work together as a community to build a happy, secure framework within which all can learn and live in harmony.
- To recognize and respect each child's individuality, whilst challenging and supporting them in achieving their own potential.
- To develop positive attitudes and effective strategies for learning, primarily through teachers who are able to inspire, motivate, accept and care.
- To create a material and learning environment within which high expectations and standards of achievement are set and maintained by all.
- To lay the foundations for effective learning by equipping children with key skills in Literacy, Numeracy, Science and Computer and by giving all children access to the National Curriculum.
- To promote active partnership within the wider community. Meaningful involvement by parnts, other agencies and the community is a vital part of our approach.
- To be an organization that demonstrates in its practice its commitment to equality of opportunity for all.
- To be a community with real sense of shared purpose and ownership, developed and shaped by effective management and leadership.
